Changing perspectives: New opportunity as a research program manager at a German foundation

Published on
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve started a new role as a Research Program Manager at the Klaus Tschira Foundation, a renowned institution supporting groundbreaking advancements in research, science communication, and education. This marks not only an exciting new chapter but also a significant shift in perspective for me, as I transition from academia into the world of strategic project and research funding management.

In this role, I will be contributing to the conceptual and content development of funding programs, identifying emerging and impactful topics in basic research, and organizing events that promote and enhance research funding. I will also support the foundation's decision-making processes and represent the Klaus Tschira Foundation within the scientific community.
This new perspective allows me to apply my expertise in research while broadening my focus to include strategy, collaboration, and the promotion of innovation on a larger scale. I’m looking forward to working at the intersection of science and impact, contributing to initiatives that shape the future of research.

Stay tuned for updates on this exciting journey!
